Meanwhile, low physical activity in childhood is associated with an increased risk of various health disorders and obesity in later life. Physical inactivity also affects the concentration of children – it reduces their concentration and productivity.
Health professionals recommend that children would engage in moderate to high-intensity physical activity for at least 60 minutes a day that does not require special conditions. It is added that activities should be regular, engaging, developing various functions and fun. Studies have shown that regular exercise has significant benefits for children’s health. Active moving improves coordination and balance of movements, physical condition, and increases muscle endurance and bone strength. There is also a reduction in the risk of cardiovascular disease, arterial blood pressure, gastrointestinal disorders, and anxiety symptoms. In addition, physical activity teaches the little ones discipline and teamwork.
